MAX.TAN to represent Singapore fashion design at “Who is on Next? by Vogue Italia” in Dubai this October.

Singapore, October 8, 2015 - MAX.TAN has been selected to be one of the finalists for “Who is on Next? Dubai”; a talent scouting project launched by Vogue Italia to showcase emerging fashion labels from the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

This debut installment of the contest will be held in Dubai, UAE, on 29 and 30 October 2015 and MAX.TAN will have an opportunity to present the upcoming Spring/Summer 2016 Collection to a panel of globally renowned judges, including Creative Director and CEO of Burberry, Christopher Bailey and Vogue Italia Editor-in-Chief, Franca Sozzani. The twenty-five finalists will compete in three categories – womenswear, menswear and accessories.

Max Tan, the designer and founder of MAX.TAN added, “I am thrilled to be shortlisted along with twenty-five other international designers on Who is on Next? Dubai. It is going to be a unique opportunity for me to showcase can get feedback for my designs from the panel of judges who are the forefront of the industry. I am also excited about the opportunity to meet the other finalists and most importantly, to represent Singapore at this event.”

MAX.TAN has already started selling in 2014 to two stores in the Middle East, and is looking forward for the opportunity to connect with more stores to expose his avant-garde Asian-inspired designs to consumers in the region.

MAX.TAN will also be showcasing the Spring/Summer 2016 at the Digital Fashion Week 2015 in Singapore on the same week at the newly reopened Capitol Theatre, which is also the location for MAX.TAN’s first flagship store, launched earlier this year.
